| ... that maybe i should start blogging again... Summer is coming and Jason and I are so excited about it! We have been so busy since we got married, but now we are starting to see signs of peace, tranquility and FUN coming our way.
I know that my family would love to just check my xanga and see what we have been up to (pictures and all), and I must admit that whenever i look back on my blog, I am reminded of great memories (i think i'm getting old for my memory is not as great as it once was) and how time flies!
Jason suggested that instead of letting people know what we have been up to here, i could just update our web page, and my reply to him was "its a lot easier for me to edit a blog than a web page!"
What do you guys think?

Anyways... Jason and I went to the Ft. Worth zoo this past weekend... It was so much fun! Since animals are my passion, it was hard for me to resist and not instantly volunteer myself to work at zoo... that is until Jason reminded me how far of a drive that would be. Jason had lots of fun too, he spent several minutes aggravating the mountain lion and getting it to growl and even run towards him (thank God for fences!) LOL. More pictures to come. |

Brazil keeps on

rocking the cup!!!

Thank you God!
B R A Z I L ! ! !
Soon to be 6 times WORLD champion!
Today Brazil won againts Ghana 3x0. As I rejoiced our victory I caught myself thinking I have come a long ways... As a kid and even pre-teen I would get so annoyed when everyone made such a big deal about soccer in Brazil. Growing up, I always felt so left out whenever my dad and my brother would talk nonstop about Tennis... I just never cared for sports. I didn't care to play them and much less to watch them on T.V.
But now I find myself caring so much that Brazil will "Jogar Bonito" (play beautifully, and win, of course), rejoicing when the Long Horns won in January or being sad that the Mavericks lost the NBA championship... What has happen to me?!?!? I remember swearing I would never enjoy watching sports on T.V. much less get carried away with it. What has done this to me? Is it just a part of getting older and reconsidering your attitudes about certain things? Is it an increasing need to know and be proud of my Brazilian roots? or is it just having a boyfriend that is into sports? mmmm...
